Weekly lawn mowing service
From spring to fall, Pensacola grass outgrows a weekend. Miss one Saturday to rain or a trip and it's a fight to get it back.
Pick weekly or every other week. We come on the same weekday, mow the front, back and sides, edge, trim and blow off, and text you when it's done. You never touch the mower.
What's included
- Front, back and side yards mowed at the right height for your grass
- Hard edges along the driveway, walks and curb
- String trimming around beds, fences, trees and the mailbox
- Clippings blown off the driveway, walks and patio, back onto the lawn and never into the street
- A text when the visit is done
Not included
- Fertilizer and weed killer (a separate service, see below)
- Bagging and hauling clippings (we leave them on the lawn, see below)
- Hedges and shrubs (separate service)

How we do it
Same day every week
Your yard goes on a route day by area, so the crew is on your street on a set weekday. If storms wash out a day, we text you and come the next open day.
Weekly or every other week
Weekly keeps each cut within UF/IFAS's one third rule through the summer. Every other week costs less per month but more per visit, because two weeks of growth takes longer to cut, edge and blow off. On fast summer grass we may suggest weekly; you can switch when growth slows in the fall.
Clippings stay on the lawn
We mulch the clippings back into the grass instead of bagging them. UF/IFAS recommends leaving clippings on most lawns to recycle nutrients and organic matter into the soil, and there's nothing for you to drag to the curb. If a cut leaves clumps, we spread them out.
Mowing heights for Pensacola grasses
Every grass has its own right height. We set the mower for yours instead of cutting every yard the same. UF/IFAS lists a different range for each grass.
| Grass | Mowing height (UF/IFAS) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Centipedegrass | 1.5 to 2.5 inches | Every 7 to 14 days while growing. The most common home lawn grass in the Florida Panhandle. |
| St. Augustinegrass | 3.5 to 4 inches (dwarf types 2 to 2.5) | Usually weekly in the growing season. The most common lawn grass in Florida overall. |
| Bahiagrass | 3 to 4 inches | Every 7 to 14 days while growing. The Pensacola variety was selected here in 1935. |
| Zoysiagrass | 1.75 to 2.5 inches (medium and coarse types) | Weekly, or when it reaches 3 to 4 inches. |
| Bermudagrass | 1 to 2 inches | Can need mowing once or twice a week. |
The rule we mow by: never take off more than a third of the blade at once. That's why lawns here need weekly cuts in the summer, and why in north Florida many lawns need little or no mowing in winter.
